MST138 gas sensor is an alcohol sensor. The gas-sensitive material used by the gas sensor is a semiconductor material with low conductivity in clean air. When alcohol vapor exists in the environment of the sensor, the conductivity of the sensor increases with the increase of the concentration of alcohol gas in the air. A simple circuit is used to convert the change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the concentration of the gas. Before the normal detection, it is necessary to apply a high voltage of 2.2±0.2V to the sensor for 5-10 seconds, so that the sensor can stabilize and enter the working state as soon as possible.
