MST 137 gas sensor is a methane gas sensor. It uses a multi-layer thick film manufacturing process to form a heater and a metal oxide semiconductor gas-sensitive layer on both sides of a miniature ceramic substrate, which is leaded
out with electrode leads and encapsulated in a TO-5 metal case. The conductivity of the sensor changes when the detected gas is present in the ambient air, and the higher the concentration of the gas, the higher the conductivity of the sensor. This change in conductivity can be converted into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration using a simple circuit.
