MST131 O3 sensor Semiconductor sensing series
MST131 gas-sensitive material used in the ozone sensor is tin dioxide (SnO2), which has a
low conductivity in clean air. When ozone is present in the sensor environment, the conductivity of
the sensor decreases with the increase of ozone gas concentration in the air. A change in
conductivity can be converted into an output signal corresponding to the concentration of the gas
by using a simple circuit.
